All Series of ENERGEE Golden Brick Battery Cells Pass New National Standard Test

ENERGEE

On May 28, all series of ENERGEE Golden Brick cell products passed the GB 38031-2025 "Safety Requirements for Traction Batteries for Electric Vehicles" (hereinafter referred to as the "New National Standard") testing verification and obtained testing reports. The New National Standard is a revised upgrade of the 2020 version of the standard and will be officially implemented on July 1, 2026. It is known as the "strictest battery safety mandate in history." The core of this standard proposes upgraded Requirements for safety testing of battery cells after fast charging cycles to address the safety challenges brought about by the popularization of fast charging technology.

For a long time, ENERGEE has insisted on challenging the limits of safety with beyond-standard requirements. Previously, the Golden Brick battery cell successfully passed CATARC's 8-needle penetration test with safety performance 8 times the national standard, exhibiting no smoke, no fire, and no explosion after standing for 1 hour; it also successfully passed the extreme compression test of a 36-ton tank, still exhibiting no fire and no explosion under extreme conditions.

In the name of Golden Brick, forge a "core" of safety. The Golden Brick battery cell will adhere to military-grade safety standards to safeguard green new energy mobility.
